Pabst Building – Brew Pub Project
Situated in the heart of Milwaukee, the historic Pabst Building underwent a transformative renovation to become a vibrant multi-use space. Originally a church, the 8,387 sq. ft. structure was repurposed into a lively brewery, bar, and restaurant, blending the city’s rich brewing heritage with modern amenities.
Challenge
Converting a small historical building into a functional brewery and dining establishment required meticulous planning. The project demanded preserving the architectural integrity of the original church while integrating contemporary electrical systems suitable for a bustling hospitality venue.
Solution
Roman Electric collaborated closely with KM Development, other trades, and the historical society to ensure a seamless renovation process. The team provided comprehensive design/build services, incorporating low voltage systems and power & lighting solutions tailored to the building’s unique structure. Flexibility was key, as the project involved numerous alternatives, options, changes, and new suggestions to meet both functional requirements and preservation standards.
