PROJECTS

FoxConn Fox Mod

For the FoxConn Fox Mod project, Roman Electric was tasked with providing both primary and secondary electrical distribution along with underground feeders to a prefabricated data center and its associated mechanical equipment. This comprehensive electrical setup was essential for powering and integrating high-tech data processing facilities with mechanical systems efficiently and reliably.

Challenge

A significant challenge in this project was the need for precise coordination with multiple trades to determine exact locations for conduit stub-ups and coordinated electrical connections. This coordination was critical to ensure that all infrastructure fit perfectly with the overall design and layout, and met operational needs without any conflicts or rework.

Solution

To effectively address these coordination challenges, Roman Electric collaborated closely with the general contractor to secure dimension drawings and verify all onsite installations prior to the arrival of the equipment. This proactive approach allowed for adjustments to be made in advance, ensuring a seamless installation process that adhered to the project’s specifications and timeline. This strategy not only minimized potential delays but also ensured that the project adhered to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
