2040 Lofts Project
Located at 2040 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, 2040 Lofts is a modern student housing complex that revitalized a 100-year-old concrete building into contemporary residences. Roman Electric played a pivotal role in this transformation, providing comprehensive electrical services to support the building’s conversion into a comfortable and technologically equipped living space for students.
Challenge
The primary challenge involved installing new electrical wiring systems within the existing 100-year-old concrete structure. The goal was to integrate modern electrical infrastructure seamlessly without compromising the building’s structural integrity or aesthetic appeal.
Solution
Roman Electric collaborated closely with other trades to conceal wiring effectively, ensuring a comfortable and visually appealing living environment. Additionally, Roman TechNet installed a robust fiber backbone and a substantial copper backbone, facilitating the routing of data and voice services from the older building to the new addition. TechNet also implemented voice, data, and cable TV systems for Time Warner in the new building, enhancing connectivity for residents.
